Every Mimic you defeat has a 1% chance to drop one, before any bonus (see Drops). Every Boss and Metal monster of any species has a 0.1% chance to drop one. The shop sells it for gold.
The town spends it on these buildings: Adventuring Party, Alchemist's Hut, Arcane Researcher, Blacksmith, Cartographer, Dojo, Mystic Arena, Slime Bank, Statue of Heroes, Tavern, Temple and Trapper, rank by rank as Spent on below shows. Crafting some scrolls costs it too, also in Spent on.
