Levels and abilities

Each level a hero gains gives it one ability point to spend. A hero’s levels also raise your guild’s experience.

Each ability point raises these stats, by the amounts in the table below:

  • VIT raises HP, and together with STR also DEF, and with INT MDEF.
  • STR raises ATK.
  • INT raises MATK, and together with AGI also MP.
  • AGI raises SPD and move speed.
  • LUK raises physical and magical critical chance and equipment drop chance.

A stat that combines two abilities takes their average, so points in either one count half. Move speed and drop chance grow more slowly: each point adds a little less than the one before.

Joining the guild

Heroes join as your guild levels up: the Warrior is there from the start, and each other hero joins at the guild level on its row. Every hero fights in its own battle, with its own level, skills and rebirths.

Rebirth

A rebirth resets one hero’s level and more (the list below), and pays rebirth points that buy lasting upgrades. Each tier needs a higher hero level, and you can’t rebirth in a dungeon or before the hero has cleared an area.

  • Tier 1 Level 100
  • Tier 2 Level 200
  • Tier 3 Level 300
  • Tier 4 Level 500
  • Tier 5 Level 1,000
  • Tier 6 Level 1,500
The six tiers, and the hero level each needs.

Every tier resets the following, plus everything the tiers below it reset:

  • Tier 1 resets the hero’s level, experience, ability points and general quests.
  • Tier 2 resets its skills’ levels and proficiency.
  • Tier 3 resets its equipment levels and proficiency.
  • Tier 4 resets its fame, grade and super ability points.

Fame, grade and super abilities

In a Super Dungeon, every monster a hero defeats gives it fame equal to the monster’s experience. Fame raises the hero’s grade, and every grade gives it super ability points to spend on its super abilities. Artifacts ask for a grade and super ability points instead of a hero level and abilities.

World Ascension

A World Ascension starts the whole world over: every hero’s level, experience, ability points and general quests go back to the start. In return it pays World Ascension points, one share for each milestone you’ve reached, which buy upgrades that last through future ascensions.

Your first one needs 5 milestone levels in total, each one after that one more, up to 50. Tier 1’s milestones count things like town building levels, area missions cleared, distance walked and rebirth points earned. Doing a Tier 1 World Ascension once is also what opens area prestige.

  • Tier 1
  • Tier 2
  • Tier 3
The three tiers of World Ascension.
