Terms of use
Last updated October 9, 2026
GamePeek is a fan project: wikis for games we think deserve better ones, built from what each game's public builds on Steam contain. By using the site you agree to these terms. They're short, and we've kept them plain.
Reusing what we write
Our own work, meaning the text we write and the tables and data we compile, is free to reuse under CC BY-SA 4.0(opens in a new tab). Copy it, share it, build on it, commercially or not, as long as you:
- Credit us with a link back to the page you used.
- Share alike: release what you build from it under the same licence.
The games belong to their owners
Games, and their names, text, art, sprites and other material, belong to their developers and publishers. We show them to document each game, credit their owners on every wiki, and they're not covered by our licence: you need the owners' permission to reuse them.
GamePeek is unofficial. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, Steam, or any game's developers or publishers.
For developers and publishers
If you make a game we cover and would rather we didn't, for any reason, or want something on its wiki changed or taken down, you can ask through our request form and we'll act on it promptly. You don't need to give a reason.
Accuracy
Our wikis are built automatically from each game's files, so they can be wrong: a game can change how something works in ways the files don't show, or we can read something wrongly. The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee. If you spot a mistake, use "Report incorrect information" on the page and we'll look into it.
Using the site
- Don't use the report form for spam or abuse; it's rate-limited, and we may ignore reports.
- Automated access is fine if it's gentle and follows our robots.txt.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the site's protections.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site grows. The date at the top says when they last changed. How we handle your data is in our privacy policy.
