Challenge details

Octobaddie, Terror of the Deep, has plagued trading vessels for the last sixty years. Very little is known about it, as there are so few survivors, and those who did passed shortly after their escape due to the powerful poison found in the Octobaddie's black ink. What is known is that it can completely blind its victims, even out of the water, as it's ink remains airborne, forming a thick, dark cloud of suffocating darkness. When these clouds finally disperse, both ship and crew are nowhere to be seen, as if swallowed whole by the beast. Only the most daring, foolish of souls would dare attempt to claim the decades old bounty that remains on this foul creature.
