How a quest moves on
The game follows your progress with the story's switches: your current objective is the furthest one whose switches say you've reached it. A quest has begun once you reach its first objective, and it's done once you reach its last. From then on, your quest log and journal show it.
Most quests start with a map script popping them up on screen, with the current objective.
Rewards
When you finish a quest, a map script opens its rewards popup, which hands over everything the quest lists in one go: coins, items and the rest.
Reputation
Each completed quest's reputation counts toward yours, which your profile shows. Reputation also counts 1 for each kind of Nexomon you've seen and 3 for each of the road tamers you've beaten. To apply for Grandmaster at the Guild Lobby, in Guild Entrance, you need 600 reputation.
Finishing every quest
Finishing every quest unlocks one of the game's achievements and, after a certain point in the story, a follower (see Companions).
