Melonfish
You catch Melonfish at Desert Depths. It is a Rare fish, so you need a rod of level 3 or higher. It is herbivorous, so only herbivorous bait catches it: Rice, Corn, Sweet Potato, Wine-Soaked Rice, Fermented Dough and Kelp. When a Rare fish takes herbivorous bait here, it is Melonfish 67% of the time.
It has one variant: Great Melonfish. When Melonfish is picked, it takes its place 1% of the time.
In the Aquarium it earns 180 Gold an hour, and its variants earn 360.
Dave can bring it back too, from a dive while your boat is at Desert Depths.
