Fishing spots

You open the Map and click a spot to unlock it. It costs Gold, once, and you need that much in hand when you click it. Once a spot is unlocked, you can go there from the Map any time.

The fish you catch are the ones that live at the spot your boat is at, so a new spot means new fish and higher rarities.

Now and then something drifts past the boat. Click it to collect Gold, and the more spots you have unlocked, the more it pays. Only one visitor is out at a time. The next one arrives about 3.3 to 10 minutes after you have dealt with the last. Some visitors throw you fish instead. Those are fish of the spot you are at. A few visitors turn up at one spot only.

Every spot but the Blue Hole has one patch of water that reacts if you click it fast enough. Click the same patch 10 times within 10 seconds and a short animation plays.
