Which visitor comes
Visitors are picked by weight from those that can appear at the spot you are at. Some turn up anywhere, and some only at one spot. At Coconut Bay the ordinary visitors weigh 1,110 between them, so a Box, with a weight of 200, comes 18% of the time.
A rare visitor can turn up any time, at its own odds. Every ordinary visitor also adds one to a count, and so does every 500 seconds that pass. Once the count reaches 40, the next visitor is sure to be a rare one, and any rare visitor sets the count back to nothing. Only one rare visitor is out at a time. A rare visitor that gives a decoration or a pet is left out once you have all of them.
Clicking a visitor
Click a visitor and it pays Gold: its reward times the number of Fishing spots you have unlocked. The Blue Hole counts from the start, so you begin with two. A visitor takes the number of clicks the table lists, and it pays on each click. A few toss fish instead. They are fish of the spot you are at, at the rarities the table lists. The Golden Boxes and the Drifting Cat give their prize on the last click: a decoration you do not own yet, or a pet.
