Bots consume more biofuel to survive.

Crops grow 3% slower, every bot's recharge costs twice the biofuel, and bots can't take their last upgrades: the frozen levels are listed below.

It has no water of its own: a Water Well is the only water there is. 10 deer roam the farm: they walk up to growing crops to nibble and go to water to drink, but do no harm.

Unlocks, with the other later farms, when you clear all the land on Sandy Desert. Its wasteland comes in 8 plots to clear, 6,000 to 42,000 spare parts each. Like every farm, it's laid out wide (144 × 8 tiles) or tall (14 × 82), chosen when you create it.
