Growing up

Goldfish are the only fish that grow, and they do it by eating the plankton that drifts into your aquarium. Each plankton adds 1 to a goldfish’s growth, and it can eat again after 6 seconds.

It gets bigger at 5 growth and is fully grown at 10. Every plankton it eats also gives your aquarium 1 experience.

Breeding

A goldfish can breed once it’s fully grown. After that it can breed as often as you like, with no limit and no cooldown.

Each goldfish parent means less aquarium experience from the breed: 20 with no goldfish, 10 with one and none with two. It counts as level 0, so it pulls the breeding odds toward Common.

Getting more

You start with one fully grown goldfish, and your aquarium gives you another at levels 2, 3, 6 and 10. Goldfish don't take up any fish slots, and you can't merge them.
