Animals consume crops and produce fertilizer.
Wanders around its pen, and after every 8 walks eats one crop from an Animal Feeder, then drinks if there's water nearby: about one crop a minute. With the feeder empty, it keeps wandering until there's a crop.
Every 2nd meal it leaves a pile of waste, which a Waste Bot collects for 
3 fertilizer: 1.5 for each crop eaten. A Fertilizer Bot spends one fertilizer on a crop tile, which then grows 25% faster for an hour.
